Online Booking for Individuals up to 8 persons:
A booking is only possible on our website by assigning a valid credit card. The credit card is necessary to secure the booking. If you do not hold a credit card yourself, please ask a friend or relative to help you out. As long as you have reserved in advance it is no problem to check in after midnight.
BOOKING GUARANTEE:
Please note that the hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit card prior to arrival. If the credit card has expired or is not valid, the hotel is authirized to cancel the reservation. A pre-authorisation is only a security guarantee for payment and arrival.
The guest, after conclusion of contract, has the right to the number and price of the rooms, however not the right of the allocation of certain beds in certain rooms.
Reservation of a private room:
if you don’t want to have other people in your room, please make a booking for all free beds in the room and write into the field, First names and last names of all other guests: “private room + I accept that all beds in the room have to be paid”.
Reservations by telephone:
Reservations by telephone are only accepted one day prior to arrival with a valid credit card und telephone nummer.
Generally your bed will be reserved until 18.00 (06 p.m.). Please contact us if you will arrive after 18.00 (06 p.m.), otherwise the reservation will be cancelled.
Cancellation policy:
If you want to cancel your booking free of charge, please email us up to 1 week before arrival till 8:00 a.m. In case of no-show the cost of one night´s stay will be charged on your credit card.
Please notice for Sylvester:
Special conditions during New Year’s Eve (27.12.2023-02.01.2024)
(on 31.12.2023 no Check- In and no Check- Out):
Minimum stay: 3 nights.
Cancellations for New Year´s Eve have to be done at least till 12.12.2023 and only possible in a written form which must be confirmed by the Hostel. Otherwise we have to charge you 100 % of the total booking amount.
We would ask you for payment in advance for the whole booking amount until 12.12.2023 by bank transfer or by credit card payment.
Bookings made from the 12th of December: Property will charge the outstanding amount from the used credit card immediately after the booking has been made. Cancellations after 12.12.2023 are not possible and payments are non-refundable.
Liability of the guest
In the case of damages caused by the guest, the compensation law regulations apply. As a result the guest is liable for all damage and disadvantage suffered by the accommodation provider or third parties due to his/her fault or fault of his/her companion or other persons for whom he is responsible and even when the injured party is entitled to claim compensation directly from the accommodation provider. Westend City Hostel has the right to charge your credit card for the outstanding amount and damages. Liability for damages has to be taken by the person having caused the damage or his/her parents or-in the case of groups-the person /authority having carried out the reservation.
Liability of Westend City Hostel
The contractual partners agree that the hostel is not liable for any property brought by customers or visitors to generally accessible areas or in hired guest rooms.
The Austrian hotel terms and conditions (AGBH) of the 15.11.2006 are valid as far as nothing else agreed. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
